Chong Jin Yoong, CFA

Chong Jin Yoong is the President of CFA Society Malaysia and the Managing Director of Ogos Learning, a firm specializing in education services for the banking and financial services industry.

Since 2010, he has conducted Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses across various asset classes to over three thousand capital market practitioners. Jin Yoong is also actively involved with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, contributing as an examiner, textbook author, and trainer.

He began his career in the financial markets at OSK Investment Bank, followed by a stint with AmBank’s Global Markets, where he covered fixed income, derivatives, and structured products.

A graduate of the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons), he was awarded the Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC) with Distinction in 2008 and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2012.
